An internal promotion has created the need to appoint a commercially minded financial analyst. Reporting to the Head of Business Support, the Business Support Analyst will have broad exposure to many aspects of the business and will have responsibilities across:
• Forecasting/budgeting.
• Financial/commercial analysis.
• Provision of timely information, reports and analysis to all divisions.
• Marketing and promotion cost control.
• Development of management information & business intelligence.
• Submission and analysis of market data.
Your ability and desire to grasp a sound understanding of the music industry is key. You will also need the following skills/experience:
• Tertiary degree in finance/accounting or related discipline.
• Professional qualifications (CA,CPA, CFA) preferable although not essential, depending on experience
• Strong systems skills (advanced Excel essential).
• Excellent analysis/modelling skills coupled with ability to draw business recommendations from analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, time management, maturity and diplomacy.
• Ability to work under own initiative but also as part of a team.
• 12 months experience in a similar role, or move from audit/professional/financial services.
