Are you an experienced Personal Assistant looking to continue your career in an exciting, fast-paced industry? Then this could be the opportunity for you!!! This role reports directly to the General Manager of the Capitol Music Group and would require you to provide full administrative and secretarial support to the GM as well as other project related work where necessary.
General responsibilities include:
• Full PA/administrative support to the GM
• Answering Telephones and maintaining electronic diary and arranging appointments for GM.
• Meeting and greeting incoming visitors, setting up meetings, (getting coffees etc).
• Preparation of weekly report to International office
• Organising correspondence to keep current work in process and keeping matters active
• Coordinate various meetings and take minutes where necessary.
• Co-ordinate GM travel and book cars/taxis when required
• Collate GM expenses and Coordinate all accounts for all teams reporting to the GM
• Coordinate ad-hoc projects as and when required
Ideally, you’ll have a genuine passion for the music industry and will also need the following skills/experience:
• Minimum three years in Personal Assistant type role at a senior level
• Excellent grammar, spelling and attention to detail
• Proven outstanding organisational and time management skills
• Demonstrated highly accurate and fast typing skills (min. touch typing speed of 70-80wpm)
• A history in providing solutions to System issues an advantage
• Sound PC knowledge, packages include Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and Internet
• Must have high organisational skills in regard to different systems within the department.
• Aptitude to take own initiative, following issues through to appropriate resolution
• A broad music knowledge and appreciation
• Previous music or entertainment (creative) industry experience an advantage
