This is a great opportunity for a young professional to start a career in an exciting industry. You will report to the Financial Accountant and give general support to the Financial Controller as well as the Finance Department and Marketing Managers.
General responsibilities include:
• Maintain and update the Advertising Purchase Order (APO) system
• Month end processing and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with reporting to overseas Head office
• Sundry Debtors – timely recharge of invoices and collection of monies
• Maintaining and recording of fixed assets
• Assist with monthly overhead analysis and reporting
• Assistance with procurement projects as directed by the Financial Accountant/Financial Controller
Your ability and desire to grasp a sound understanding of the music industry is preferred.
You will also need the following skills/experience:
• Degree Qualified or part completed studies
• A genuine interest in music
• A self-starter with drive, initiative and enthusiasm
• Real problem solver and have the ability to remain calm when under pressure
• Flexibility to work hours above the normal working hours
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A real team player who has the ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
