EMI Music Australia has a vacancy for an experienced and self-motivated Inventory Controller, based in our Cremorne, Sydney Head Office. As part of the Music Operations team and reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have responsibility for full Inventory Control for the complete EMI catalogue.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor movements within the Distribution Centre and review manufacturing capacity for stock replenishment.
• Manage Catalogue within relevant price points, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained and stockturns are met.
• Maintain Catalogue for Campaign drives.
• Coordinate the manufacture of New Release CDs and DVDs
• Coordinate all incoming import deliveries.
• Logistics and scheduling.
This role requires constant liaison with other internal departments (marketing, sales) and externally with our Distribution Centre and Manufacturing Company. You will have a proven track record in Inventory/Stock Control Management.
Ideally you will have:
• Experience in a process-driven environment
• Excellent organisational skills
• Well developed systems skills and sound knowledge of Excel and Word
• Attention to detail and superior negotiation skills
• Proven analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
