A&R PRODUCTION MANAGER
This is a great opportunity for a mature and well organised administration professional to join an exciting and dynamic music company. The A&R Production Manager works with and supports the Head of A&R from an administrative and project management perspective and is the central point of contact for the coordination of the department.
The A&R Production Manager will be responsible for:
• Coordination of the recording process with artists, source appropriate studios, equipment hire, recording personnel, general logistics and complete label copy for each project
• Devise and manage detailed recording budgets and monitor other A&R budgets
• Coordination of all administration for the department including archiving of masters, faxing, photocopying, typing correspondence, sorting mail, maintenance of studio information database, labelling and storage of artist recordings and general PA duties
• Source and assess potential new artists, research market trends and coordinate and monitor progress for release of our artists internationally
To be successful in this role, candidates must have exceptional administration/PA skills, experience with budget preparation and monitoring, well developed project management skills and the ability to meet rigid deadlines whilst showing 100% attention to detail. It is essential that the candidate is a ‘systems and procedures’ person who is proficient with Excel and Word and can learn in house systems quickly.
