The Licensing department offers a variety of licences and services to assist our clients in developing music concepts and ideas for all kinds of projects.

The functions of our department cover diverse areas such as:

• Clearing rights for all tracks to appear on EMI compilations, such as albums from the "NOW", "Legends" and "Coastal Chill" series;
• Licensing of EMI tracks to other record companies or labels for use on their compilation albums;
• Creating physical and digital premiums solutions for clients who wish to promote a brand or reward their customers with EMI music;
• Sourcing and negotiating synchronisation deals for TV, film, advertising and corporate use;
• Entering into licence agreements with companies and individuals for a variety of purposes, such as playing video clips in public venues, selling EMI albums via mail-order or sampling an EMI track in a new song.
