Key Account Management
Specific Key Account Managers have designated major retail accounts to service.
New Business
New Business is a division of EMI that (both locally and internationally) discovers and implements innovative ways of selling our music. New Business sales generally come from non-traditional avenues such as - CD and download sales to businesses and agencies for competitions and promotions, creating premiums (branded compilation CDs) specifically for companies, CD staff incentive programs for large companies and mobile phone ringtunes / ringtones sales. New Business also explores non-traditional forms of distribution for our music (eg mail order businesses, homeware or liquor stores selling CDs etc).
Sales Representatives
A team of national sales reps cover sales and merchandising to all major retail outlets.
Call Centre
The Call Centre team sells to retail across the country whilst also providing customer service and merchandise. The Call Centre is responsible for the processing of all orders, return paperwork, and other miscellaneous tasks as required. Retail customers include HMV, Sanity, Big W, independent retail, etc.
We manage both inbound and outbound calls and provide a specific sales and service function to around 100 independent accounts, primarily in regional Australia. Once a week, each Call Centre representative has an allocated day to contact his or her stores. The call comprises of discussions around new release information, chart sellers, singles, and back catalogue offers.
The Call Centre operates like any other Call Centre, however it is situated in a more relaxed and informal environment, and is involved in selling great music!
